Get a grip!
Once we’ve validated a new product idea through market and consumer research activities, our innovation evaluation process ensures its thoughtful and planned transition to a testable concept package.
Development Highlights: 64 oz. Grip Bottle
We tested several existing 64 oz. juice bottles with consumers and asked them to rate the bottles based on grip (hand fit), lifting and pouring and learned a great deal about consumer preferences. We put this valuable insight into action when we engineered our new 64 oz. Grip Bottle.
We were confident we had designed a winning grip based on our consumer feedback, but we had to get the design in consumers' hands to let them feel it, lift it, and interact with it. Our 3-D prototype served that goal in addition to a host of engineering and manufacturing goals.
Through a meticulous development process informed by consumer insights and customer feedback, the 64 oz. Grip Bottle was introduced into our PET packaging line (view it in our product catalog). The Grip Bottle, like all new products we create, is not just another product: it's an informed solution that addresses real consumer needs and increases consumer satisfaction when it counts: at the moment of consumption.
